Code of Conduct

Our dinners work because six strangers agree to be good company for one evening. That’s the whole deal. Here’s what we ask of everyone at the table — and what you can expect from everyone else.

Come as booked. Every seat at the table is individually booked — no unticketed plus-ones, no sending someone in your place. Want to bring a friend? Great — they just need to book their own seat like everyone else. Everyone at the table has booked, agreed to this code, and shared their dietary needs — that promise only works if the people who show up are the people who booked.

Be good company to the whole table. This is a group dinner, not speed dating. Talk to everyone, not just the person you find most interesting. If you hit it off with someone, wonderful — exchange contacts after dinner, if you both want to.

Take no for an answer — even the quiet kind. No pushing for contact details, no comments about bodies, no persistence after disinterest, no touching without clear invitation. If you’re wondering whether something crosses the line, it does.

Drink like it’s dinner, not a night out. Wine with strangers is lovely; being the drunk stranger is not. The restaurant can stop serving anyone, and so can we.

What happens if someone breaks this. We — or the restaurant’s staff on our behalf — can ask anyone violating this code to leave, without a refund, and decline their future bookings. We’d rather never use this. It exists so that everyone else can relax.
