Terms of Service

Pavlova social dinners · Effective date: August 18, 2026 · Version 1.0.1

The short version. You must be 21+ to book. We organize the dinner, arrange your set menu, and do our best to seat you with good company; the restaurant cooks and serves, and drinks are on your own tab. Be decent to the people at your table — our Code of Conduct is part of the deal, and we can remove and ban anyone who breaks it, without a refund. Refunds and cancellations work as described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Our responsibility is capped at what you paid for your seat.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms are an agreement between you and Rockup Ltd., a company registered in Cyprus (VAT Reg. No. CY60153093Z) (“we”, “us”), operating under the Pavlova brand. They govern your use of pavlova.com and your booking of, and attendance at, the dinners we organize (“dinners”). The Cancellation & Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the Code of Conduct are part of these terms and are incorporated by reference. By purchasing a seat, you accept all of them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old and able to enter a binding contract. By booking, you confirm this is true and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. What we provide — and what we don’t

3.1. What we do: we organize the dinner — we select and book the restaurant, arrange a set menu, compose the table, coordinate the group, and support you before, during, and after the event via +1 (844) 702-0110 (US), +357 95 980614 (EU), or support@pavlova.com.

3.2. What the restaurant does: the meal is prepared and served by the hosting restaurant, an independent business responsible for its own premises, food safety, and service.

3.3. Alcohol is never included. Your seat covers the set menu, which — depending on the restaurant — may include a non-alcoholic drink; the event page states what your menu includes. Alcoholic drinks are never part of your seat: any alcohol is ordered by you directly from the restaurant, paid on your own tab, and served at the restaurant’s discretion and responsibility, in line with applicable law.

3.4. No representative at the table. Our dinners are designed to run without our staff present. Support before, during, and after the dinner is available at +1 (844) 702-0110 (US, text), +357 95 980614 (EU), or support@pavlova.com.

3.5. Thoughtful seating, no guarantees. We may use your guest-survey answers to compose tables and seat guests we believe will enjoy each other’s company. This is a best effort, not a promise: we do not guarantee the number of guests beyond the confirmed minimum, nor the identity, demographics, or compatibility of the other guests, nor any particular social or romantic outcome. Pavlova is a social-dining service, not a dating or matchmaking agency.

4. Booking and payment

4.1. Prices are shown in the currency stated on the event page — US dollars for dinners in the United States, euros for dinners in the eurozone — and charged at booking. Payments are processed by Stripe; your payment is also subject to Stripe’s terms.

4.2. Your seat is personal to you and non-transferable. Guests who are not on the booking list (including uninvited companions) may be refused seating.

4.3. Each dinner is subject to confirmation as described in the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Seats purchased after a dinner is confirmed are final sale, as indicated at checkout.

4.4. If you have food allergies or dietary requests, you must tell us through the guest survey in advance. We pass your needs to the restaurant, but you remain responsible for your own food choices at the table.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations, refunds, and event changes are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

6. Conduct at dinners

6.1. The Code of Conduct applies to every guest at every dinner.

6.2. We — including through the restaurant’s staff acting at our request — may refuse entry to, or remove from a dinner, any guest who violates the Code of Conduct, behaves unlawfully, or endangers or seriously disturbs other guests or staff. No refund is issued in that case.

6.3. We may decline future bookings from guests removed under this section or credibly reported for serious misconduct.

7. Assumption of risk

Dinners are social events with people you have not met, held at third-party venues. To the extent permitted by law, you attend at your own risk with respect to your interactions with other guests and your personal belongings. Nothing in this section limits the restaurant’s legal responsibilities for its premises and food, or anyone’s liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Disclaimers

The website and our services are provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and do not guarantee that any dinner will meet your expectations or that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law: (a) our total liability to you arising out of or relating to a dinner or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the seat concerned; and (b) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Communications

By booking, you agree to receive transactional messages (confirmations, reminders, event updates) by SMS and email. Marketing communications are governed by the Privacy Policy and can be stopped at any time (a reply is enough; reply STOP to texts). Message and data rates may apply.

11. Intellectual property

The website and its content (text, branding, images we create) belong to us or our licensors. You may not reuse them commercially without our permission.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the current version applies to bookings made after it takes effect. Material changes will not apply retroactively to a dinner you’ve already booked.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, except where the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the place where you live apply instead. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Cyprus or, where applicable law gives you the right, in the courts of your place of residence. Nothing in these terms deprives you of protections you’re entitled to under mandatory consumer law where you live.
